Update on NHS cyber attack - 15 May

15 May: Our Data Security Centre continues to provide 24/7 specialist support to help NHS organisations, their in-house IT teams and staff deal with the NHS cyber attack.

NHS Digital's focus remains on working around the clock to give expert assistance, including tailored advice and on-site support, to frontline bodies.

We continue to issue targeted bulletins to different parts of the health service to support them with further guidance and reassurance. NHS staff can also access the latest information and practical documents on our website.

NHS Digital remains vigilant in alerting NHS organisations to known cyber security threats and advising them of appropriate steps to take to minimise these risks; in addition to protective near real time monitoring of national NHS IT services and systems, which are unaffected by this issue.

We are working very closely with the National Cyber Security Centre and partner bodies to support NHS organisations at this time.
